Greeters are volunteers who spend 4 hours in the museum each day the museum is open.
The hours are 1-5, Tuesday through Saturday. People visit the museum and it is the Greeter's job to make the visitors feel comfortable. This is not a job at the same level as a docent. Appreciation of art is encouraged - but knowledge or education about art is not required.

Description
A museum with varying exhibits and activities. The art exhibits are an eclectic mix from national artists to local artists. The classes and workshops offer a cultural experience for people of all ages. The fundraising events include Art in the Garden and the Luey Luey variety show. We also offer concerts once a month, Second Friday Poetry Sharing, art films once a quarter, author talks, artist talks, and much much more. We are a lively hub in historic downtown Grants Pass.
