The Ohio Statehouse Museum Education Center relies on dedicated volunteers to provide free tours to thousands of visitors every year. We are seeking candidates who enjoy working with the public and are comfortable speaking to large groups. An interest in history or government is beneficial, but not required. Volunteer perks include a Statehouse Museum Shop discount and FREE parking in our underground garage.

To interpret the role of Ohio's Statehouse in U.S. and Ohio history, to celebrate its art and architecture, and to highlight its ongoing impact on the daily lives of Ohioans, and thereby inspire all Ohioans to participate in State government.
Description
The Capitol Square Review & Advisory Board (CSRAB) is a non-political agency that was created by the Ohio General Assembly in 1988. It is tasked with overseeing the buildings and grounds of the Ohio Statehouse on Capitol Square. CSRAB is also charged with providing educational programs through the Ohio Statehouse Museum Education Center (OSMEC). OSMEC oversees the Satehouse Museum, the Thomas Worthington Center, the Statehouse Volunteer Corps, tours, exhibitions, and educational programs.
