ORGANIZATION: Mothers Against Drunk Driving - Southeast Texas

We need adults that can commit to a morning, an afternoon, or a full day or more a week to assist MADD in the daily operations of our Regional Offices located in North Houston. The Admin Assistant Volunteer will come and volunteer with our varies daily tasks from answering the phones, receiving victim calls, help in office management capabilities, shred files, make copies, email and fax, data entry, special event support, research, gather news clippings and online reports, identify new survivors, "handle" news requests, coordinate with other volunteers for mass mailings, scrap booking, and more.

The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime, and prevent underage drinking.

Description

Mothers Against Drunk Driving - Southeast Texas Affiliate, is currently working on projects to raise awareness on the services it provides. MADD is the largest free victims services organization in the country. MADD also works tirelessly to prevent underage drinking through its varied school-based programs.

Harris county is the deadliest county in the United States when it comes to traffic fatalities where alcohol is involved. In short, more people lose their lives in our community to drunk drivers than in any other community across the nation.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving depends on the support of our citizens and community leaders to help us in our efforts to eradicate drunk driving.
