The relationship between MADD and all Law Enforcement personnel is vital! These volunteers have numerous ways that we say thank you to our Law Enforcement Officers for their many hours of dedication and specifically recognize the ways that they have saved lives through heightened anti-drunk driving programs and shifts that they take. A Volunteer here can attend Roll Calls and take treats and gifts we supply for appreciation to officers at the beginning of their shift(s). Under this program your schedule and availability is VERY flexible. We also have been limited to Harris and Montgomery Counties...but we need other areas of Harris County and the other 8 counties we serve to have a volunteer go and say Thank You on behalf of MADD to all forms of Law Enforcement in YOUR own community! Volunteers are also needed to assist in our Yearly Law Enforcement Award function.

The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime, and prevent underage drinking.
Description
Mothers Against Drunk Driving - Southeast Texas Affiliate, is currently working on projects to raise awareness on the services it provides. MADD is the largest free victims services organization in the country. MADD also works tirelessly to prevent underage drinking through its varied school-based programs.
Harris county is the deadliest county in the United States when it comes to traffic fatalities where alcohol is involved. In short, more people lose their lives in our community to drunk drivers than in any other community across the nation.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving depends on the support of our citizens and community leaders to help us in our efforts to eradicate drunk driving.
