We are currently looking for chefs to help at a charity event for Type 1 diabetes and to help develop recipes for our Healthy Food Pantry which provides gifts of healthy food to children enrolled in our programs, as well as children with medical conditions. Description
The Kids Heart Felt Health program empowers children to take care of their own health at the earliest age possible. The company provides hands-on cooking classes that teach children nutrition. In addition to protecting children's physical hearts with its child-focused nutrition curriculum, the program also includes a character-building curriculum represented by the acronym "HEART" (which stands for "Humility, Empathy, Appreciation, Respect, and Tenacity"), which is designed to teach children how they can live with heart in their daily lives.
