Serving as a volunteer in a hospice agency can be personally gratifying, intellectually stimulating, and emotionally meaningful. We serve DFW and surrounding areas.
Things you can do as a volunteer:
Direct Patient Support - companionship, reading books, playing board games, musical recital, writing letters.
Bereavement Support - Phone calls to grieving families, sending care packages, sending letters
Administrative Support - Clerical office work, filing and copying, answering phones
Special Support - Scrap booking, Quilting, Memorial Service, staff and volunteer appreciation, health fairs, speaking engagements,
