Seeking Leaders, Managers for Volunteer Leadership Team at ground-breaking Non-Profit Theater that also serves the community and at-risk and homeless youth!

Join our Volunteer Leadership team and make a meaningful contribution to our community through using your managerial talents and leading teams to support the award-winning programs at The Actors Theatre Workshop.

We seek experienced, organized and efficient individuals who can take a leadership role and contribute in marketing and advertising to promote the diverse programs, classes, and productions that we offer at The Actors Theatre Workshop. This position requires k een listening skills, and the ability to connect with people of different styles, professional levels and backgrounds. A background in social media as a marketing tool is also preferred.


  • Promote and advertise the wide range of classes we teach, including the Master Class, the Ten Session Intensive, and the Executive Leadership Program.

  • Promote the Play Reading Series, in which Artistic Director Thurman E. Scott reveals the ins and outs of the creative process with the audience, as members of The Scott Conservatory present their original works for the public.

  • Develop and implement a communications plan, including promotional materials, outlets, target audiences, and evaluation criteria

  • Create fliers, promotional material, and programs for productions/performances.

  • Work closely with the Artistic Director and other members of the management team in administering and producing on-going classes and workshops for professional actors and community programs that serve at risk youth and homeless children.
