This position provides an excellent overview to the operations of the Actors Theatre Workshop. We seek experienced, organized, and efficient individuals who can take a leadership role and contribute to the numerous and wide ranging administrative duties needed to successfully run a theater and community service organization. Arts and theatre management experience are helpful but not required. Working full day or evening shifts is preferred.
Set strategic direction and hold a vision while being able to identify and respond quickly and creatively to growth opportunities
Supervision and management of staff, budgeting and financial management, development and execution of strategic plans, and efficiency in aligning and maximizing resources; must have demonstrated success in working with nonprofit boards of directors.
Supervise the operations of the theater space.
Interact with a variety of different people.
Oversee all activities with rental clients.
Work with volunteer corps.
Interact on the telephone with suppliers and donors of goods and materials
Manage the database, and update key sectors including students, artists, rental clients, and supporters.
Create and maintain filing systems (both paper and PC-based) for the general theater files, the Artistic Director, and other senior staff members.
Social media coordinator to maintain the organization’s online network
