SMALL SPECIAL EVENTS MANAGER for MILITARY Service Members (Volunteer)

Hockey Saves is a non-profit dedicated to happy and mentally healthy military service members...Prior, Active Duty, Reserve, Retired in all branches. Our tool of choice is the great game and family of HOCKEY! We're in need of someone with a great deal of expereince in small sized special events, including but not limited to: Able to manage people and staff volunteers needed to support the event. Able to work with venues we maybe using for the events. Not all of our events are fund raisers but it would help if you had experience with fundraising for a well rounded manager. Able to problem solve and be able to think on your own.

You would be working primarily with our military service members and their familiy members but at times with the general public and sponsors as well. This is a volunteer management position and is better suited for someone who has a professional event planning (small scale) background.

You can choose to only focus on one particular event or help us with several events as they come up. (This is not a one-day volunteer stint because event planning and execution of plan always takes time depending on the event itself) ...This is a great way to give back and be a part of the cause!
