Join us Saturday mornings from 10am to Noon for our 21st season of gardening among the wildflowers. Help restore the North Pond Nature Sanctuary and its surrounding areas as we plant trees, shrubs, and native wildflowers and grasses; mulch around park trees; collect litter; weed pesky plants; and perform other essential tasks. Over the weeks, volunteers will learn how to seed and plant native areas, identify and remove invasive species, and prune and mulch trees and shrubs. Optional training provided. No time commitment. Please sign up in advance. Tentative 2021 dates:

April 24 (Earth Day)
May 8 & 22
June 5 & 19
July 10 & 24
August 7 & 21
September 11 & 25 (National Public Lands Day)

In addition to these dates, we occasionally host one-off events to address urgent issues in the park or cleanups in cooler months.

Minors must be accompanied by legal guardian. Verification letter can be provided for required service hours.
