Walk Set Up (FRIDAY 4/14 12:00 - 4:00):
Set up tables, chairs, company banners, signs, supplies for each tent, etc.
Walk Set Up - (SAT 4/15 5:30 AM)
Route signs, trash cans, remaining banners, etc.
Registration:
2 people (A-H line)
2 people (I-P line)
2 people (Q-Z line)
VIP Tent:
Monitor entrance to tent and ensure that only those with wristbands have access, liaison for VIP needs
Inflatables:
Monitor kids on the inflatables
Carnival games:
Assist/monitor with carnival games - 1 volunteer per game
Parking:
Director cars/operate golf carts to assist people with getting to/from the event
One golf cart and others in lot directing.
Wish Experience:
1 Volunteer per Wish Experience to monitor/assist; take photos for attendees
Greeters:
Welcome attendees and help direct them either to their sponsor tent or to the correct line for registration.
Route/Water:
Distribute water to runners, cheer them on, help direct them along the route
Wish Kid Hand Print Table:
Assist kids in putting their handprint and signing canvas for display
Photographer Assistant:
Work with photographer in rounding up and organizing team photos; will receive list of teams, layout of map, Team Captain info
Mascot/Cheerleader Assistant:
Assists in directing mascots and cheerleaders to appropriate points; will receive details of times/who is expected and where they should be.
Set Up/Drop Off:
Will either drop off supplies/boxes etc. on Friday afternoon/evening or early Saturday morning
Set up day of - assist with table clothes, hanging sponsor signs, etc.
General volunteer check in:
Direct volunteers to their assigned position
Wish granter check in:
Thank Wish Granters and give them their gift
Wish Kid check in:
Provide wish kids with identifying item, direct them to wish zone and VIP tent

Description
There are several volunteer opportunities available within our chapter. To learn more about the volunteer opportunities listed below, please visit our website: Volunteer - Make-A-Wish(r) Missouri & Kansas
Wish Granting - wish granters meet with the wish family, help the wish child determine his/her one, true wish and act as a liaison between Make-A-Wish staff and the wish family during the wish process.
Translator/Interpreter - Help facilitate wish experiences for non-English-speaking families.
Special Events - Plan, organize, and implement successful fundraising events by working on event committees, helping out on the event day, and/or participating in the event.
Skill-Based Volunteers - Use your professional skills and knowledge in your own community to help with wish events and/or the wish planning process on an as-needed basis.
Young Professionals (St. Louis, Kansas City, and Wichita) - The mission of the Make-A-Wish Young Professionals is to provide a forum for young community leaders to enhance their professional growth, gain leadership skills, and practice civic responsibility while increasing awareness, encouraging volunteerism and raising funds for Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas.
