Erin's Hope for Friends serves teens ages 12 - 24 on the High Functioning Autism Spectrum (HFAS). Our Acworth location runs every Friday evening 7:00-10:00 pm and Sunday evening from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. We have some sort of structured activity each Friday and Sunday. That can be anything from karaoke, to movie night, to therapy dogs visiting. We also have a big, open space with gaming tables, board games, Xbox consoles, and other low stress activities for the kids to participate in so they can meet other HFAS teens and make friends. The goal is to create an environment where they are comfortable and can be themselves. Volunteers are there to help facilitate conversation, hang out with the kids, participate in the activities, and simply help be a 'friend’ to the kids in our program.
It is an opportunity for these teens to have somewhere to go on Friday evenings when they would otherwise be home due to the lack of social skills and invitations to hang out with others. You will not be disappointed as these wonderful kids have a great time and enjoy the interaction they have with everyone.More opportunities with ERINS HOPE FOR FRIENDS INC

Mission Statement
Creating lasting relationships through joyful interactions for high functioning autism spectrum (HFAS) teens and young adults .E’s Club is a place where teens ages 12 - seniors in high school with HFAS can meet to have fun, and develop meaningful friendships in a safe and encouraging environment. We have established there is a gap, something missing in the lives of many teens and young adults who are socially-challenged. We’ve heard it from our Advisory Board, we hear it from parents and schools, but most importantly we lived it.
