ORGANIZATION: Special Olympics Southern California

We Run the City is an annual 5K rivalry run/walk between USC and UCLA that supports Special Olympics Southern California. Official timing will be carried out for this race by Run Racing, a premier event production company based in Southern California.


We are looking for a Entertainment Coordinator volunteer to help with the following:

  • Recruit and manage all entertainment components for the event including:Entertainment groups from both USC and UCLA (student clubs), UCLA Marching Band, Mascot, Cheer Leaders, National Anthem Singer, Color Guard, Community Cheer Groups, Local Bands, Celebrities, stage, sound and lighting company
  • Attend regular monthly committee meetings and report on status of planning and recruitment
  • Attend the event and lead a team of entertainment volunteers
  • Be the main stage manager on event day
  • Help prepare the scripts and run of show
