A great volunteer opportunity for teens and adults to provide hospitality assistance for the museum's Group Tour Visitors and at Special Events at LancasterHistory.org. Volunteers will be partnered with the museum's Visitor Service Associate who will train the volunteer on how to greet and welcome visitors to the museum.
We are seeking individuals enthusiastic about history; dependable and motivated; possess good verbal communication skills; possess ability to be on their feet for up to an hour; are at least 14 years of age; available to work a minimum of one hour, or up to three hours.
Staff will provide training for those interested. Training includes shadowing Visitor Service Associate staff members, and becoming familiar with the museum's programs, exhibits, and events at LancasterHistory.org.
Shifts are available Monday through Saturday as groups and special events are booked.
