Liberty Hospice provides quality care and comfort to our patients and their families in a critical time of their lives, as well as bereavement support for the year following their death. Memory Bears are made from the clothing of a loved one and becomes a family keepsake. Memory Bears have a therapeutic benefit and are here to hold and hug after a patient has passed away. What a special gift! We will provide the pattern and the bereaved families will provide the clothing for volunteers to sew into Memory Bears in their homes around their schedule. Volunteers may also make quilts, prayer shawls, or lap blankets for our patients. Come help us make a difference! Contact Jennifer at (910)712-6444 or jjordan@libertyhomecare.com.
