While there may still be warm weather still in the forecast, we here at Compassus Hospice are already looking ahead to Fall & beyond!

Are you seeking a valuble and meaningful internship? One that allows you to create your own schedule and offers ongoing training? Compassus Hospice is seeking students who are interested in internships within the following areas:

1. Art Therapy

2. Music Therapy

3. Social Work

4. Healthcare Administration

5. Chaplain / Bereavement

6. Counseling

7. Public Health

Compassus Hospice provides comfort and support to patients in their last months, weeks, and days. In addition, hospice provides support to patients' families and offers bereavement support for 13 months after the loss of their loved one. Our patients are located within Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery Counties so we have patients located in your area. A field internship with Compassus in one of the above areas will come with an opportunity to develop your professional skills, learn bedside manners, and build relationships in the community. Our organization is in over 30 states, and we provide services to many of the hospitals and nursing homes in the tri-state area - an internship with us is a great way to make connections both locally and nationally for a future career. Our interns are also given on-going educational opportunities, allowed to shadow team members in the field, and are welcome to attend hospice team meetings with the medical director.
