Must be at least 21 years of age and of good moral character. Should be interested in and enjoy working with youth and be able to work with adults.
Give leadership in carrying out the BSA program to the youth. Complete required training (free). Stimulate the Cub Scouts' imaginations on the program theme for the month using the provided resources.
Maintain a friendly relationship with Cub Scouts; encourage them to earn advancement awards. Help set a good example for the boys through behavior, attitude, and proper uniforming, and support the policies of the BSA.
