The Angel program was born out of a desire to provide extended emotional and spiritual support to patients as they reach the final stage of life's journey. The Angels are a "special forces" division of our volunteer base who give the gift of a compassionate presence so that no patient dies alone.

Hospice is a philosophy of care - not a place. At Compassus Hospice & Palliative Care, we deliver our care services wherever our patients call home, whether that home is a private home, an apartment, an assisted living community, a skilled nursing center or, in some cases, a hospital.
