Habitat for Humanity is a faith-based community organization. In North Augusta, we are also 100% voluntary.
Suprisingly, we have a difficult time finding qualified owners for the homes we build. Therefore, we want to extend our reach into the Church Community to identify people in need of affordable housing.
We also want to work with the ministries in North Augusta to identify opportunites for financial and volunteer support.
The Church Liason will reach out to leaders in local religious organizations to introduce Habitat and its mission, and to seek volunteers, financial support, applicants for our houses, and other areas of mutual benefit.

Description
Habitat for Humanity of North Augusta (HFHNA) is part of Habitat for Humanity International, a global, nonprofit housing organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide. We build a house each year in North Augusta that is then sold to a deserving, low-income family.
HFHNA is unique in that our entire organization is comprised of volunteers. A wide variety of talents contribute to our success. While you may typically think of construction activities when you think of Habitat, we also need professional services such as finance, public relations, social media, legal, real estate, fund raising, etc. Our opportunities provide volunteers with the flexibility to set their own hours and to work from their own home or office.
