Fun, outgoing, organized individual needed! Must be a "people person" and a creative thinker!

Post volunteer opportunities on VolunteerMatch.org and monitor responses. Reply to interested parties and ask them to fill out a Volunteer Interest Survey to email back to you for review. Once received, call the applicant and discuss the opportunity they are interested in helping with. Direct them to the appropriate person in ARR who will be training them for the position.

Send email to ARR Volunteers Google Group whenever a new volunteer position opens up or is created. We like to find people who are already familiar with ARR if possible but are always glad to bring new volunteers on board, too.

Respond to volunteer interests posted on Adopt-a-Pet.com in the same manner.

Send out monthly email to ARR Volunteers Google Group asking for nominations for Volunteer of the Month. Write up their story and post on ARR’s Facebook page, email to ARR Volunteers Google Group, and email to Jeremy Phipps to post on our website. Coordinate with Karen Martiny to send an Amazon gift card to the monthly volunteer as a thank you for their help.

Come up with creative, fun ways to thank volunteers and fosters - cards, thank you calls, etc.

Coordinate annual or twice yearly get-together for ARR volunteers so they can meet each other in person, have fun, socialize, and feel more a part of a cohesive group. One event in Denver and one in NoCo would be best so volunteers don’t have to drive too far. All are welcome to attend both events.

Stay in touch with volunteers through emails and on Facebook page groups consistently (once a week at least) to let them know you’re there for support, questions, and guidance.
