Do you enjoy watching things grow? Working with soil and plants? Do you enjoy being outside enjoying the weather? Then this is the opportunity for you!
Prospective volunteers should have:
-Familiarity with annuals, perrenials, plant needs and care
-Familiarity with and recognition of invasive plants/weeds
-Knowledge of garden tools
-Ability to plan garden layout and plant
-Flexible schedule
-Creativity
-Little supervision required

Description
Established in 1940, the Carver County Historical Society is a private, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to collect, preserve and interpret the history of Carver County, Minnesota. We share local history with visitors and residents through museum exhibits, traveling exhibits in the county's libraries, a local research library, and family, adult and children's education programs.
