Volunteer Position: Refugee Resettlement Apartment Set-up Volunteers

Volunteer Position Description: Volunteers work with the Resettlement team to help prepare apartments for newly arrived refugee families. We provide refugee families with all the basic necessities in their apartment including furniture, bathroom essentials like towels, and kitchen essentials like pots, dishes, and silverware.

Commitment Requirements: There are no commitment requirements for this position; volunteers who sign up are put on an e-mail list and will be notified 1-2 weeks before each apartment set-up. Volunteers may choose to participate in each set-up based on their availability.

Qualifications: Volunteers must be able to lift furniture/be able to participate in preparing the apartment for the newly arriving refugee family.

Age Restrictions: Available to volunteers ages 21 and older

Volunteer Supervisor: Refugee Resettlement program manager
