ORGANIZATION: Compassionate Care Hospice

Compassionate care has openings for caring volunteers looking to offer friendship, companionship and emotional support to individuals on their end journey of life.

We would love you to join our community of volunteers to help in this vital opportunity to lessen the fear and loneliness of a terminally ill patient. The volunteer would sit with the patient and keep them company. The time commitment is usually about 1-3 hours a month.

We will provide training and on sight supervision till you feel comfortable with visiting on your own.

We require a two step PPD test, health clearance and criminal background checks which are paid for by Compassionate Care.
