To serve as a volunteer mediator and conflict coach for Neighborhood Dispute Settlement. As a volunteer mediator, you will be expected to serve as a neutral third party in helping to empower parties in dispute to reach an agreement. Examples of disputes include neighbor, landlord/tenant, family, custody, and business. All mediators must have at least 24 hours of mediation training by a board approved training program.

Description
Neighborhood Dispute Settlement provides mediation services as an alternative to toher means of resolving disputes. To fulfill this purpose, NDS provides a neutral, non-violent setting for disputing parties, and provides trained mediators to faciliate cooperation been the parties.
