Are you looking for an amazing opportunity to volunteer at a tournament with teams from all around the world?

The National Sports Center in Blaine, MN, is looking for your help to volunteer for the upcoming Target USA CUP 2023. Target USA CUP is an international celebration of cultural exchange right in the Twin Cities. Every July, 16,000 players from 20 countries and 20 states come out to the National Sports Center to play the great game of soccer. USA CUP is a vibrant and exciting event because of the teams that play in it and the volunteers that help put on a first-class event.

Below is the information about volunteering at USA CUP:

When:

  • July 14 th-July 22 nd
  • Three available shifts *Times subject to change*
    • Morning (7:00am-12:00pm)
    • Afternoon (11:30-am- 5:00pm)
    • Evening (4:30pm-9:00pm)

Positions available:

  • Field Support/Managers
  • Airport greeters
  • Opening Ceremonies
  • Referee Transportation

How to Register:

  • Login to your NSC Event HQ https://www.nsceventhq.org/
  • If this is your first time using the system, you will need to create an account. You only need ONE account per family.
    • Once you have created your account, you will need to verify your email address and set your password.
  • If anyone besides the account holder is volunteering, you will add 'participants’ to your account (children, spouses, etc.) by finding the Customer Tools tab and clicking Manage My Participants.
  • Find the Target USA CUP tab at the top of the page and click Volunteer Application.
  • Fill out your contact information, what volunteer opportunity you wish to do, and your availability for the week.

Mission Statement

The mission of the National Sports Center is to provide amateur sports opportunities for not only Minnesota’s youth, but for youth all across the world. We accomplish this by holding a variety of nationwide and international tournaments each year. The largest tournament we conduct each year is the Target USA Cup. The USA Cup is the largest youth soccer tournament in the Western hemisphere and typically features over 1,000 unique teams. Other than soccer, the tournament features a wide variety of entertaining activities, celebrity appearances, and more! This year, the tournament takes place from July 9th-July 17th, and we in need of volunteers more than ever before. During the USA Cup, volunteers are responsible for a variety of tournament operations including managing fields, providing transportation for referees, opening ceremony responsibilities, and much more. Description

The Target USA CUP is the largest youth soccer tournament in the Western Hemisphere, hosting around 1,000 teams annually. The tournament takes place at the National Sports Center, the largest amateur sports facility in the world. This tournament is more than just soccer, we host multiple entertainment opportunities all over campus. With multiple events and large amount of visitors, this event is a great opportunity for volunteers to hold many positions. This year's tournament is in need of more volunteers than ever!
