Mark DeGarmo Dance incorporated in 1987 as Dynamic Forms, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity. Since then, we have created education, performance and intercultural community programs with national significance.
We have a few current needs for hanging up posters and handing out postcards around the city. Most pressing is our "Las Fridas" performance happening April 20-24- we want to hang print materials in a few specific locations. More ongoing is our MoveUP! Dance Academy, which teaches dance to kids ages PreK-grade 5. We have a spring and summer session for MoveUP! that we would love to keep promoting through ongoing postering in the city.
This volunteer opportunity is ongoing and flexible- any help or time you can provide is appreciated!

The missions of the Mark DeGarmo Dance is to educate disenfranchised NYC communities-and children-about the roles of the arts and dance in society; to promote intercultural inquiry and communication, and create, perform, and disseminate original artistic work.
Description
Mark DeGarmo Dance is a not-for-profit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization committed to education and the arts, intercultural inquiry, and creativity. MDD works in yearlong, multiyear partnership programs with NYC public schools underserved in the arts, dance and aesthetic education. For many public schools, Mark DeGarmo Dance is often the only provider of dance and arts education.
