The Carrollton Library is currently seeking a Vice President for the Friends of the Carrollton Library.
The Vice President assists with creating and running fundraisers such as the bi-annual book sale and the pop-up book sales at local farmer's markets. Other activities include attending the monthly meetings and advocating for the library by spreading the word in the community about library events and resources.
The Friends are a non-profit organization devoted to supporting the Carrollton Branch of the Blackwater Regional Library. The Friends purpose is to foster closer relations between the library and the citizens of Carrollton, Virginia and to lead in the development and improvement of library services.
