Halloween Scavenger Hunt Puzzle Creator

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Audubon Park Garden District

  • 4 people are interested

We're looking for a couple of clever people who can help create puzzles to challenge groups of visitors (age 13 and up) who will participate in a photo scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt is scheduled for Saturday October 1, 2016 and will be held in our commerical district between Leu Gardens and Baldwin Park in Orlando. The hunt is part or our nonprofit's Halloween kick off.

Volunteers would come to our area, check out potential stops and create puzzles or clues to help get people through the hunt. The ability to come up with rhymes, limericks, etc would be great, as would the ability to create the clue sheet. So, some basic design capability would be fantastic.

We're looking to have the scavenger hunt puzzles and prep done by the end of July 2016.

Description

The Audubon Park Garden District is the organization that brings you public art, community events, Orlando’s first eco-district, a community newsletter, small business support, and so much more.

We water plants, pick up litter, and work with all sorts of community members - from small businesses to area nonprofits, residents to property owners, the City of Orlando, and many more - all to keep up that support and enhance the specialness, which is the APGD.

Established in 2008, the Audubon Park Garden District is an accredited Orlando Main Street program and a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. One of eleven Orlando Main Street programs, the APGD works to enhance the neighborhood and support the indie spirit of the community.

Created by the National Trust for Historic Preservation over thirty years ago, Main Street America is a national movement to help cities, towns, and villages revitalize their neighborhood business districts.
