The Community Ambassador role is one of the most meaningful and rewarding opportunities you will ever find. The role provides valuable experience that can lead to future opportunities with The NWC, and can provide you with an edge over your competition in your future career path.

The Community Ambassador will assume responsibility for all aspects of making an international community development project a reality. The NWC works with partner communities in Kenya, The Dominican Republic and Haiti, and has identified each individual community's most pressing needs, ranging from housing, clean water, economic development, education, and more. The successful candidate will work with The NWC team and one of our partner communities to plan and execute a community development project to help address their needs.

You will be expected to inspire and recruit a small group of people to get involved, spread awareness, engage your group to fundraise for the project (100% of all money raised goes directly to the project), and lead your team on the adventure of a lifetime to live and work with our partner community to make this project a reality. In preparation for your project, you will prepare your group for what to expect while travelling, plan and execute fundraisers in collaboration with your team, and spread awareness about the project. While travelling, you will be responsible for the experience and safety of your group, the implementation of the community development project, and adherence to The NWC’s "zero negative impact" philosophy. Ultimately, you will be responsible for the overall experience of every participant, and will represent The NWC in our partner communities,

The Community Ambassador plays a key role in helping The NWC meet our overall objectives - to provide convenient avenues for people to make a difference while having the adventure of a lifetime, and to make a positive impact in our local and international communities. * Participation in a past C.L.O.U.D. project or CLOUD Connection (an asset, but not required)
* Valid Passport (required)
