The Cameron After School Program offers a safe place to be after school for elementary school children who attend School #54. The primary emphasis is on homework completion, tutoring, and positive behavior and conflict resolution. Children use the Accelerated Reader software to identify and improve their reading level. We also offer snacks, field trips, Arts & Crafts, playtime, exercise, many special events and computer instruction. We are currently looking for Math and Reading Tutors for our K-6th grade students. Ideally our tutors would be paired up in a 1 on 1 situation and it would be a consistant pairing for the child. This position would be great for those older students who excell in their studies, college students studying to be in the education field or those who have been in the education field.
