Do you love to sew and give back to those remembering a loved one? If so, we have an opporutnity for you to take a patients' article of clothing and make it into something special and memorable for their loved ones. This could be a shirt into a pillow and/or bear depending on the sewing ability. Also, open to new and creative ideas if you have them. Let's join together and make lasting memories for a loved one.
For the safety of our patients, we do require all volunteers to have a background check, drug test, tb skin test and have training/orientation. All this is provided to you as a benefit of becoming an Avalon Hospice Volunteer.
This is a wonderful way to get involved in your community and to help pass on the memories of a loved one.More opportunities with Avalon Hospice
