Hospice Volunteers Needed in St Joe!
13 people are interested
Hospice volunteers make a huge difference in someone’s life by simply being present. They provide support and companionship to patients and families in their homes and long term care facilities. As a volunteer, you can provide caregivers a short break and spend time with a patient playing cards, visiting, reading aloud or sharing your well-behaved 4 legged friend. Veteran volunteers also needed to visit patients who have also served. No nursing skills needed or personal care duties performed by volunteers. Hospice volunteering can be a meaningful and life-changing opportunity for anyone, even teens! We can do one on one training with you or gather a few people together from St Joe to be educated on hospice and the volunteer role. To learn more, schedule a time to meet or to arrange training, call Kathy Fetters, Volunteer Manager 816-389-5426 or firstname.lastname@example.org
We'll work with your schedule.
