Do you love knitting and have a compassionate understanding for those with Dementia? We are looking for volunteers to help knit our hand muffs that have various beads and baubles on them for patients to 'fidget' with. it's a great way to use up all your extra yarn too! For over 40 years we have provided compassionate care to those we serve during the end of life's journey. As a leader in hospice care our dedicated staff feel called to support our patients. Our spiritual care staff work with many local faith organizations to deliver spiritually oriented hospice care to patients of all faiths.
Our interdisciplinary team includes medical professionals, social workers, spiritual care and bereavement professionals. Our dedicated volunteers provide companionship, pet and music therapy, personalized notes and reflection pages as well as special event support.
