Volunteers are an essential and invaluable part of American Stage, we simply couldn't succeed without them. Volunteering with American Stage is a great way to support the local arts community, meet new people, and enjoy amazing performances!

Established in 1986, American Stage in the Park at Demens Landing has been a celebrated Tampa Bay tradition for over thirty years. Volunteers for this huge event are needed in a variety of areas including ushering, ticket-taking, and bartending. Volunteering @ American Stage in the Park is suitable for most age groups, and we will happily work with you to determine the appropriate positions for your age, preferences, and ability.

This year's Park show was announced all the way back in 2019, with rehearsals set to begin March of 2020. We held the curtain for two years, and finally this spring we will we will present the high-energy pop-rock musical Footloose, based on the hit film, running April 6 through May 8 every Wednesday through Sunday at 8pm.Volunteers are able to enjoy the performance for FREE!

Note: American Stage is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, and volunteering with us counts as community service as recognized by most schools, colleges, and many employers as well as scholarship programs such as the Bright Futures program.
