Sidewalk is a local non-profit having historical success at getting homeless adults off the streets and into homes of their own. Sidewalk Achieves this through an almost fanatical relationship with data. Sidewalk's results-based, data-driven approach makes use of the latest technologies and best practices from around the Country.
Data Specialist Interns are student interns who assist with data entry and database management. Interns wil gain experience at the County level, through the Thurston Co. Dept of Health, working on the Thurston Coordinated Entry System, and at the State level, through the Dept of Commerce, working on the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). The Position may also require at times light office work such as filing, copying and answering phones. Internships range from 5-15 hours per week.
