This position is a temporary project to optimize outdated Windows XP and Windows 7 hardware/software. The systems primary purpose is for speech generation for people living with ALS that have lost ability to speak. Must be comfortable navigating a windows environment and willing to learn and troubleshoot unfamiliar software and hardware peripherals. Will work directly under the direction of the Assistive Technology Specialist. This has a potential to be an ongoing volunteer position that will make a positive impact of those battling with ALS aka Lou Gehrig’s disease.

  • minimum 4 hour shifts on pre-scheduled days
  • Ideal: CompTIA A+ certified or pursuing
