The Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center's (BOEC) volunteers are a vital resource and their dedicated participation and support make many of our programs possible. As a volunteer, you will touch and impact the lives of many individuals and help continue a long history of adaptability and inclusive programming. People with disabilities, serious illness, adult and youth groups from diverse social and economic backgrounds, all benefit from the outdoor activities available through the BOEC. We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our adaptive ski and snowboard volunteer corps. Intermediate skiers and snowboarders will receive training and continuing education at no cost from the BOEC. If you can commit to three days a month for the entire ski season (Nov - April) you will receive a Breckenridge Resort season pass. Otherwise volunteers will receive a complimentary lift ticket for each day they assist on lessons. Volunteer Orientation will be held on October 29th in Breckenridge. Check our website at www.boec.org for more information, or contact Volunteer Coordinator, at 970.453.5633 or by e-mail at volunteer@boec.org.
