Volunteers needed to provide companionship for hospice patients and families. You don't need any special skills and the rewards are tremendous! We have need for people in the Vineland/Millville/Ocean City and Cape May area to provide our patients with a warm heart to help them on the final Journey of their lives. This work is not only rewarding but gives you a renewed sense of what life is all about. The stories you'll hear are amazing - the support you'll provide is unimaginable - the fulfillment you'll get is something that will last a lifetime. Training is free and done on your own time. Mileage is reimbursed and our gratitude is extended in the form of special volunteer events.

To provide comfort, relieve physical, emotional and spiritual suffering, and promte the dignity of terminally ill indiviudals. To ensure a nurturing, supportive environment for our hospice care team. To develop a strong partnership with the community to ensure comprehensive end-of-life care is available to each eligible individual.
Description
We are a new hospice organization that has only recently began accepting patients. We are serving 10 patients at this time with a projection of 30 patients by the end of August.
