GreenHomeNYC.org is looking for volunteer writers to craft the following content for our newsletter and website blog:
- Original feature articles about sustainability topics
- Attend a GreenHomeNYC public events and write a recap of the information presented
- Web content
- Event descriptions
- Special projects, fundraising appeals, etc.
Requirements
- Interest in sustainability and environmental issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to commit to a topic and adhere to submission deadlines, which are usually established a few months in advance
Time commitment
- Writing assignments are completed on your own time
- Hours are flexible, but you are expected to meet your submission deadline or provide advance notice so we can confirm a replacement
- Ability to attend up to one meeting or event per month
