My name is Joshua Alvord, I am the executive director of a nonprofit organization called Local Earth. The mission of our organization is to support and inspire Sustainable Community Development. We are currently starting an environmental campaign called the " Tiny Footprint Challenge".

The focus of our campaign is to inspire healthy use of the world's natural resources and educate participants with practical STEPS of ACTION they can take to minimize their ecologic footprint. We are focusing on ONE specific area of life per month for 12 months (Water, Food, Waste, Energy, Shelter, Transportation etc). We are starting the campaign on May 1st with WATER.

We recently received our 501c3 status and are pursuing collaboration and partnership with like-minded organizations, as well as potential sponsors. We are seeking accounting and CPA assistance to help us manage donations, taxes and financial matters. This is a grassroots endeavor so we are hoping to find a CPA who feels aligned with our vision and is willing to work with us at a nonprofit discounted rate or help support our organization as a pro-bono project.
