Camp Erin - an initiative created and supported by The Moyer Foundation - is a network of free overnight bereavement camps designed for children and teens ages 6-17 who have experienced the death of someone close to them. This weekend-long experience is filled with traditional, fun, high-energy camp activities combined with grief education and emotional support. Camp Erin offers a relaxed, safe and supportive environment, led by grief professionals and trained volunteers of Shimmering Wings.
Campers will have the opportunity to fish, swim and canoe during their free time at camp. Lifeguard must have current certification by a nationally recognized certifying body, standard first aid and CPR certification for the professional rescuer. Certified lifeguards must be at least 21 years of age.
