ORGANIZATION: NAOMI

naomi is a long-term transitional housing shelter located in Spokane Valley. naomi helps homeless women and their children transform their lives by escaping poverty and isolation.

naomi is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic childcare volunteers who are passionate about helping kids learn and grow in a safe environment.

Child Care Shifts:

Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
8:45 am - 11:45 am or 11:30 am - 2:15 pm

Many of these kids have never experienced a stable home environment and positive interactions are such a blessing. Volunteer duties include maintaining clean/safe play areas, providing positive guidance, and engaging with kids. These children have experienced some major traumas in their lives and fun childcare volunteers are often a joy and highlight of their week!

We ask that you are available to volunteer a minimum of once a month, but welcome volunteers to come weekly.

Through involvement in our Abundant Life Group or living in one of our transitional homes, women can find a supportive community, access educational support groups, accountability partners, and resources. In the community at NAOMI, women have the time, space, and support to recover from trauma and dependency.
