THANK YOU FOR CHECKING US OUT!
Habitat for Humanity ReStore is the primary funding source for the homes we build in our efforts to eliminate poverty and secure safe and affordable housing for families here in our own community.
Habitat receives donations from a wide variety of individuals, companies and contractors. Often, we have large donations of items such as carpet, granite, tile, flooring or other such items that need groups of able-bodied volunteers to measure, price, sort and otherwise process the items so that we can put them on the sales floor. As Habitat for Humanity thrives on volunteers, we need groups of community members that are willing to come out and help our ReStores succeed!
The minimum age for volunteers is 16, but we are grateful for groups ranging in any size from 5-15 (possibly more for special events)!
Groups who have previously volunteered range from college fraternities, church groups, business employees, and more! We are delighted to have groups of any affiliation out to work in our ReStores. While behind the scenes, the work in the ReStores has a direct effect on the children and families we are helping. For more information, please contact ReStore Volunteer Coordinator, Lindsay Riessen, at volunteer@habitat-sa.org
