Starts back up in the Fall, September!!!
Greetings parents, volunteers and supporters of Empowered Girls of NC!
We are seeking volunteers, volunteer groups, and activity vendors for this ongoing Girl's Night Out event held every 3rd Friday while school is in session.
Great opportunity to give back and support girls in the community!
Opportunities can include facilitating the Girl Talk Sessions with our Teens [great for empowerment speakers/mentors], creating arts and crafts with the kids, doing STEM projects, donating/preparing their meal and snacks,host a fitness/dance class, teach spanish, teach cultural events, among others.
OR
If you perform a service [ie vendors, business managers] you can volunteer your time giving facials, other beauty sessions, dance, Zumba, sports and other fitness activities, teach hygiene classes, fashion, etc.
For past Girls Night Outs, we have had vendors give our girls free massages, Zumba classes, dance class, beauty sessions among others.
Please email info@empoweredgirlsnc.org if you are interested in volunteering your time or donating supplies/materials and prizes for these events.
Volunteers must attend 2 hour training session before the event, background check is required.
