Our volunteers who visit with hospice patients tell us that volunteering with Hospice is life-changing and one of the most rewarding experiences of their lives and we need your help!
If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity where you make a difference, come and find out more information about hospice care during our orientation/introductory class. There are all different types of volunteering opportunities available--even opportunities where you specifically don't have to meet a patient 1:1.
RSVPs are required. Syllabus of information can be requested by e-mailing Doug at firstname.lastname@example.org or I can be contacted for additional information. Depending on your schedule, I'd be happy to discuss the opportunities with you over the phone or in person at our Foster/Pulaski location.
Great Lakes Caring encourages a philosophy of care that assists patients, caregivers, family and friends during the final stages of terminal illness. We promote dignity and emphasize quality of life for those who choose to die in familiar surroundings with the ones they love.
