ORGANIZATION: Helping You Grow Successfully, Inc

Advocacy Coordinator works to connect transitioning foster care students with the programs and services offered by HUGS and it partners. The Advocacy Coordinator will have a close partnership with the Student Engagement Liaison. The Advocacy Coordinator will help make connections in the community through:

  • Serve as the main contact for involvement to increase collaborations with campus organizations, offices, centers, and businesses.

  • Work collaboratively with Student Engagement Liaison and Colleges/Universities and Trade Schools on events, programming, assessment and other initiatives

  • Promote HUGS initiatives in person, electronically and print

  • Develop & manage a territory of schools and universities.

  • Achieve established placement goals.

  • Serve as primary point of contact for schools, graduates/alumni and partnering services/agencies.

Helping You Grow Successfully, Inc. (HUGS INC) is a pending 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization established in 2015 with the aim of organizing a positive, enriching environment which will lead to an improved quality of life for our youth and their families. The organization’s projects, implemented by a well-trained staff, emphasize character development and change disadvantaged individuals from the inside out. HUGS INC provides many struggling young people with a thorough foundation for future success by supporting the development of self-confidence, healthful living, good judgment, and character.
