Assist with grounds and facilities maintenance on the 15 acre sanctuary. This can include the following according to the volunteers skill level and interest level:

Trail clearing and mulching

invasive removal

general repairs

cleaning buildings

garbage removal

landscaping and gardening

fountain and pond maintenance

cleaning vehicles

Established in 1923, the 15 acre Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary & Audubon Center is the nation's first Audubon songbird sanctuary. Every day we strive to honor the legacy of the "Conservation President" by practicing sound land stewardship, caring for animals, and eduating children and adults about conservation topics.
