TLC Meals on Wheels in Littleton has a need for weekly drivers and substitute drivers on an as needed basis. Volunteers pick up meals at our facility between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m., then deliver to approximately 15 to 18 residences in the Littleton, Centennial, and Englewood area. Total time commitment is approximately 2 hours.
TLC Meals on Wheels has served meals to homebound seniors and disabled individuals in the South Metro Denver area for almost 50 years. Currently we deliver over 375 hot nutritious meals daily between 11:00 and 1:00 every weekday. Yet we provide much more than a meal, as for many of our seniors our volunteers are the only people they see during the day. Our volunteers, many of whom have been with us for decades, find the immediate impact of their work very gratifying.
