KnowSpot Philanthropy

We are an innovative non-profit organisation which have implemented a unique product known as KnowSpot network. KnowSpot network is set within tourist destination or interesting spot which transmits relevant information about a particular spot directly to visitor’s smart phone through Wi-Fi. The visitor doesn’t need to use any data nor the roaming data to obtain such information. The visitor just simply connects to KnowSpot network through Wi-Fi and receives the content of the spot where is actually located.

For the communication with the KnowSpot network, the visitor of the spot uses the application KnowSpot.

Our product is used for content sharing, to increase informativeness, spread the campaigns and be innovative in the field of tourism and the way of getting the coherent information.

The position Local Project Coordinator consists of allocating interesting point of interests or interesting tourist spots in the area where the volunteer is willing to operate and contancting the administrators of that interesting tourist spots in order to provide KnowSpot network on those places for free.

The potential volunteer should be:

• Goal orientated
• Perfect language skills
• Good knowledge of the area
• Basic technical skills
• Comupeter skill (MS office, web search, ...)
• HTML is advantage

• Local Project Co-ordinator will actively seek for interesting locations where the implementation of KnowSpot network would be possible. These locations/ places are usually interesting 'overcrowded’ places such as castle/ monument/ cathedral/ palace/ museum/ tower/ etc. Pick a crowded place where the first Knowspot device could be installed at no cost for promoting and training reason

• Present our programs to potential partners / organisations on behalf of KnowSpot Philanthropy organisation and communicate via e-mail, personally or in other way

• Assure that the content about the spot will be provided. Either via organizer, owner, manager or administrator

• Suggest an agreement with the place where the KnowSpot services will be installed

• After successful agreement - ensure the implementation of the KnowSpot network at specific location and be able to technically ensure the service activation and installation

We, as a non-profit organisation, are providing KnowSpot network free of charge.
