July Jubilee is a celebration of the Americans with Disabilities Act, being held on July 27 & 28, 2018 here at The Whole Person, 3710 Main.
Volunteers are needed for everything from set-up/tear down, clean-up, greeters, selling merchandise, helping with bands, helping with mascots and more.
Friday night, July 27 we will have our music festival from 6-11pm. Shifts for this day are -setup from 12-5, helping with festival 5-11pm.
Saturday, July 28 is our family fun day. We will have food trucks, sporting mascots, bouncy house, speakers, and entertainment. Shifts are-7-11am and 11am-3pm.

Description
- Promotes full accessibility for persons with disabilities to live in the community.
- Helps populations who are underserved. i.e veterans, mental illness, and LGBT
- Provides needed but underfunded opportunities for persons with disabilities to remain independent and in their own homes.
- Helps people avoid nursing home placement.
- Helps people with disabilities leave nursing homes and return to the community.
- Finds sustainable employment for persons with disability, essential in breaking the cycle of poverty.
- Provides ASL instructions to children’s families who have any language delay disability such as autism or deafness
